Federal Judge Ruling on California’s Light Bulb Ban

According to a recent report from EC&M, District Judge Kimberly Mueller of Sacramento, Calif., recently rejected a petition to temporarily block new minimum efficiency standards for light bulbs that were adopted in November 2019 by the California Energy Commission.
The petitions came from both the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the American Lighting Association (ALA).
